Never lose your set list again!

All the way from LA Alpha & Omega descended on South Florida with a mission: to remind people that hardcore is still alive and well. They came out and tore the stage up with their unique mix of hardcore and thrash. The ecstatic tempo of their music not only gave people a lot of time to pit but when the breakdowns came, they were swift and fast which were better for moshing. These guys definitely understand their core audience and were a real pleasure to see live, especially their bassist. Before the show, all I had heard was he was a “beast” and a “monster” on stage and Walter didn’t disappoint. Aside from the lead singer, he was the most active person on the stage — when people weren’t too busy diving off of it — which isn’t something that usually occurs in hardcore bands. He even looks rather menacing with his tall stature and less-than-toothy grin, I certainly wouldn’t want to go up against him in a fight. Alpha & Omega have just concluded their US tour and are now embarking on their first ever European tour and I wish them luck.
