Cecil, before things went nuts that night

As a part of Everymen‘s CD release party at Propaganda earlier this month, Black Weather Shaman took the stage. To date, this was possibly their most fleshed out, GG Allin-inspired set that I’ve seen. Since it was such a special occasion, pretty much everyone in the band went off kilter although anyone in attendance can fully admit that Cecil let it all out that night. They played some new songs including my favorite Pious Blues and the crowd was wild, literally. Cecil and the gang really helped set the atmosphere for the whole night: crazy, raucous, revelatory, and fun. For many, this was but a sign of things to come later in the night and was one of their best performances to date.
