For The Fallen Dreams at Ground Control on 2010-07-28

Another band hailing from Michigan to show us that even the coldest climes can rock out is For The Fallen Dreams. Mistake no hyperbole here, these guys were crushing and unrelenting. Each song was fast and heavy, practically built for moshing or wreaking havoc elsewhere. With an assault of guitar riffs, deep bass, and literally pummeling drums, For The Fallen Dreams can make a concert venue erupt into a near riot with little effort. It’s not that people just get into the music, something about the music really gets inside people and makes them mosh like crazy or sometimes, be a bit more violent than they normally would be.

This concert was the first one I’d ever been to where I had to leave the pit because I was worried for my gear. I had a lot of fun seeing FTFD however, I don’t think my camera liked it much.
