Lance belting out a chorus

Proving that the midwest has some great metal acts, Kansas City’s own Hester Prynne brought the pain to Rocketown FL a few days ago. As the top billing act of the Three Heads of Death tour, they played a brutal, breakdown-heavy set full of headbanging and pitting. Based on the crowd reactions from Rocketown and their show the previous night at The Talent Farm, I’ve got a strong suspicion that they’ll be back soon!
