Detroit’s not known for its metal music scene but with hardcore bands like LEGEND, they should be. Their sound and stage presence are full frontal brutality and unrelenting, leaving a crowd unable to keep up. They manage to combine typical hardcore-styled vocals and two stepping breakdowns with death metal bridges and sensibility. Chad Ruhlig’s small stature is more than made up for in his ability to tear through songs, hype up a crowd, and throw down some heavy moshing while singing. From beginning to end, LEGEND live up to their name and always deliver.
