Unarmed For Victory at Revolution! Live on 2011-03-05
The last time I saw Unarmed For Victory was at The Pit in West Palm and I wholly admitted that I was not terribly impressed with their sound, mostly due to a poor sound check and the stage volume being pumped on the bassist’s (pictured) amp. Well, I completely rescind that remark because their performance at the Next Big Thing Tour Battle of the Bands was literally one hundred times better. Aside from the near blinding red stage lights — which were out of their control — I found nothing wrong with the performance. The vocals were much strong this time around and everything seemed to be timed better. And the stage show was equally impressive. For a short set of roughly 20 minutes, there was huge crowd involvement, including free glow sticks and a wall of death; while not quite that raucous, it got the job done in the small floor area.
I have no idea if they won the competition or not, I have no idea who won anyway, but they certainly made me a fan with such a strong performance.

They were super good! I think I liked them best out of all the bands there tbh. The glow sticks were awesum and the wall of death was fun. They look like a band that should get signed imo.
I agree, their performance was great, much better than the first time I saw them. Glow sticks were a great addition to their live show and it was a really nice touch, best of the whole show.
