Barnes is one of the most intense vocalists I've ever seen

One local band who’s surprised me the most this year has been Validus. The first time I saw them about six months ago at The Talent Farm, I was floored. You’ve got an incredibly affable and charismatic lead singer, Barnes, backed by an incredibly talented and capable band. There’s a lot of talent and potential in this band and I’m excited for them to go into the studio and begin to record new tracks for an EP but until then, the best way to experience them is to hit up one of their shows. From start to finish, you won’t be disappointed.
