There was tons of crowd interaction during Woe, Is Me's set

Rolling into Pompano Beach last month was the Rock Yourself To Sleep Tour sponsored by Motel 6 and I shot the Georgia metalcore outfit Woe, Is Me. Now, I was not expecting a band as large as Woe, Is Me, I had forgotten they had seven members and the stage was just big enough to hold them all! With three highly animated vocalists, two equally rowdy guitarists, and a drummer that never quit, it felt like a marathon shooting these guys. However, it was a lot of fun and it was very evident that everyone in attendance was having a blast, the crowd was absolutely relentless. I have to say, I’ve seen a lot of shows at Rocketown but I’ve never seen one this big, I believe they were at capacity and I would believe it. Seeing a crowd of 600 people going absolutely bananas was really a sight to behold, it looked amazing from backstage.

Luckily for us South Floridians, the guys are coming back on 25 March 2011 for The Artery Foundation Across The Nation Tour. I have a feeling that’s going to be another show that fills Rocketown to the rafters with concert-goers.
